The first prototype Su-35 (T-10BM) was constructed at the KnAAPO (Komsomoisk-onAmur Aviation Production Company) and delivered in the summer of 2007. That same year the Su-35 prototype bort 901 was delivered to Zhukovskij and was revealed to the public and the world as a ground display for the 2007 Mak’s exposition. At first sight the Su-35 is an upgraded version of the Su-27 with thrust vectoring nozzles. Bort 901 completed its maiden flight on February 19, 2008 and in 2011 901took part in Su-35 flight tests.
