In 1989 the Polish Air Force began to receive former German Mig-29As. Later in 2003 and 2004 they received eighteen Mig-29As. Among them was 29+14 that is now stationed at the 22nd Tactical Aviation Base and assigned to the 41st Tactical Squadron with serial 4120. In 2018 4120 was painted to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Polish Air Force. On top of the fuselage is a portrait of Jozef Piłsudski while on the vertical stabilizers portraits of Stefan Bastyr and Janusz de Beaurain, the first to perform a Polish combat flight together.
