The Spanish Air Force 142 Escuadron (Squadron) “Tigers” of the Ala 14 (Wing) began in 1980 with the arrival of the Mirage F.1 fighter. The 142 Squadron is a sister to the 141 Squadron both located at Los Llanos AFB, near Albacete Spain. By the end of 2018 sixty one of the seventy three Eurofighters ordered by the Ejercito del Aire (Army of the Air - Spanish Air Force) had been delivered. Ala 14 was fully operational with the Eurofighter by 2013. EF2000 C.16-48 MSN 11-28/14-12 Serial SS029 was manufactured in 2011.
