JU 52/3M ge D-ALYL XI. Olympiade, Berlin 1936

D-ALYL was a Ju-52/3M ge c/n5180 named “Hans Loeb” delivered to Lufthansa in 1935. The XI Olympiad Games were held in Berlin in 1936 so prior to this event the aircraft was painted with the Olympic rings. In 1937 the aircraft was operated by OELAG an Austrian airline and registered as OE-LAR “Linke Crawford”. In January 1939 the aircraft returned to Lufthansa and again became D-ALYL “Hans Loeb”. In August 1939 the aircraft was taken over by the Luftwaffe as NG+VY and later changed to 17+RV.
