Late in WWII the Polish People’s Army (LWP) formed a single ISU-122 unit called the 25th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment. Do to the lack of ISU-152 the plan to form a regiment using this artillery was cancelled and a composite regiment, the 13th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment was completed. The 13th was made up of two batteries of SU-85 medium assault guns and two batteries of ISU-152 Tank Destroyers. The 13th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment took part in quelling the fighting in the Warsaw Uprising and then proceeded to Berlin.
